"We had a confirmed reservation made through Expedia for 1 night (arrival on Jan 18, 2024). When we arrived at the property at around 6:00pm (local time) to check-in, we were denied access to the hotel. Instead, we were asked to leave the premises, because we questioned the 19 percent VAT surcharge the owner added to our bill from an earlier stay made a few days prior. "An amazing hospitality and dinner experience after a pretty long road. I thought I would never feel welcomed like years ago in the Andes Lodge (close to Puelo, also in Patagonia)… but Sebastian, Hernán, Chris & Co exceeded by far our expectations in terms of service and gastronomy. Sad I just booked for one night… but I will be back shortly and for a longer stay. Congrats to the team !"
