"Just returned from a 14 night stay at the Ramira. Stayed for the first time last year and liked it so much we booked to return this year. Second visit did not disappoint. Stayed in a Deluxe Double room with seaview. View was fantastic. Room was cleaned every day by the wonderful Eleni Really comfy king size bed. Mini bar stocked every other day (beer, wine, water, coke fanta lemon , fanta orange, sprite and soda water - all included no extra charge). Ate at the italian al la carte which i really enjoyed. Mushroom Risotto was the best I’ve ever tasted. Didn’t try the Meat al la carte this time (I’m vegetarian so not much choice in there for me). The buffet restaurant has fantastic choice and is always varied (in my opinion). It has to cater to the different food tastes of numerous nationalities which can’t be easy. I never struggled to find anything I fancied and the desserts are just delicious! Evening entertainment is varied with the usual tribute acts (The Drifters, The Jersey Tones, The Supremes, Legends etc) , Greek Dancing on Sunday night and a DJ on Friday night. Pools are lovely and it was never crowded in the main pool. Never an issue getting a sunbed. Lovely comfy beds on the beach too. I found the Ramira to be a great value All inc hotel. It’s staff are what make it - they all work so hard and are so friendly. It has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere- not pretentious or posy. "

"The front desk staff was friendly and helpful the minute I arrived. They answered my questions about the and gave me wonderful recommendations for some delicious food! The roof top pool and bar were lovely and perfect for a cool drink to watch the boats in the Marina. Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"This hotel is sold by Expedia as a 5 star even though the hotel claim it's a 4 star. It was quite possibly the dirtiest most run down shabby hotel I've ever stayed in. The pools had algae all around the edge, most of the slides were closed and looked to be in a state of disrepair. Room cleaners, came in dail but only folded the wet towels that we had left to air and made the bed. Nothing more. Staff were lazy and unpleasant, not even bothering to put cutlery on tables then rudely asking "what do you want?" When you look for some. Food was the same every day, basic incorrectly cooked tasteless food. Had chicken that was raw in the middle on 2 occasions. When you mention it to staff they shrug and blame someone else. Reception staff were so rude, unapologetic and unfriendly. Even asking a simple question in a polite manner got you a short sharp grunt of a response. The hotel will not provide water, other than the single bottle in the room on arrival. When you ask for more you are sent to closed bars to buy more, or told to go to the shop - whose credit card machine never works!! Alcoholic drinks were so watered down there was barely any alcoholic content in them. "Cocktails" were just premade sugary rubbish. Overall a disgusting cesspit of a hotel. You couldn't pay me enough to go back. There are far better 2 star hotels out there!"

"Lovely hotel, beautiful grounds, speciality restaurants are superb, staff friendly and helpful, buffet a little repetitive, lots of children around, could do with an adults only area for sunbathing"

"We arrived at the hotel to find out that the air conditioning had been turned off as it was the last week of the season although when we complained we were offered a fan. The bedroom was clean but the bathroom was tired and looked dirty. There was a good variety of food although the hot food was lukewarm and considering we were all inclusive we had to pay for water!! Overall we had a good holiday but we wouldnt rate the hotel 4 star. "

"We stayed here for one night, as we were leaving the next day for the airport. The pool area and overall property was very nice. We arrived just as lunch was ending so our only option was to eat at the pool bar which had very limited options. We did go out in the evening to the town of KOS to have dinner there and walk around. The rooms need some updating, but overall they were fine."
