The Motor Lodge is a nice change from the generic chain hotels. It is minutes from downtown Prescott where there are lots of restaurants, shops and nightlife. Fun kitschy local business.

This hotel was so cute and comfortable. Our room was not big, but it was cozy. There is a gas fireplace that warms the room. The hotel is at the end of Whiskey Row and a nice half mile walk to the St. Michael's restaurant. The only negative was the small shower.

This is not your typical motor lodge. Kitchy, comfortable and fun! We love the vibrant colors, gathering at the fire pit and great location, walkable to Whiskey Row.

The place offered a unique experience, almost like being transported into the past. The quaintly decorated spaces were picture-worthy and definitely arouses curiosity and provides for a memorable experience. Truly worth it experience. If you're going to a unique place such as Prescott with its quaint small town appeal, a regular hotel chain experience won't do. You simply must stay at The Motor Lodge.

Wonderfully Quiet, Closely Convenient
The stay was excellent at the Motor Lodge. The place was built in the 30's so I was concerned that it would be runned down or lacking in modern day conveniences. Thankfully my worries were unfounded. The attached covered parking was a nice addition (only for one care, you'll need to do street parking if you have more than one) and the lodging itself was essentially a tiny house. Bathroom, little kind of kitchen (sink, coffee pot and fridge) plus bedroom. In addition there was a nice private patio to our unit. The real big seller was the quiet of the place. Our unit was essentially detached from any other, so we did not hear any noise from our neighbors or the nearby road. The lodge enforces quiet hours at 9pm to ensure that it is peaceful. Finally there is the human interaction with the property. This was during Covid so my wife and I did not make use of the room cleaning service during our stay, but when we arrived the room was clean and ready to go. Mark checked us in, very polite. There were beers waiting in the fridge and when we checked out Cathy (I believe that was her name, apologies if incorrect) gave us cookies. So they definitely went the extra mile. I could also go on about the room theming, ours was 80 themed and the outside common areas had lots of scrap metal sculptures. Oh also our room had the most dapper cat portrait, I have included that pic as well. Finally we were a 5 min walk from Whiskey Row and an incredible brewery (lazy g) just across the street
