"The hotel made sure to mention that English was available and the staff spoke it, but I only met one person who spoke English when I was checking out. Apon checking in our room had bugs on the bed and then when we killed them we were woken up to more bugs crawling on us. "Travelled with 2 adults and 2 kids. Got a double room. Lots of space, beautiful pool. Excellent chef! Unfortunately there was an issue with the plumbing and our toilet flooded twice. The hotel asks you to put your used toilet paper in the garbage -while gross this apparently is standard in Brazil. We did that the whole time yet it still flooded. Which was gross.
