The staff at check in is not overly friendly, and did not give directions for finding the apartment building or discuss the parking options. The apartment has parking but it must be purchased at the time of booking. Which also was not an option when booking through Expedia. "Honestly when I read the reviews about this place after my husband booked, I was very sceptical. People said it was dirty, had cockroaches, no hot water. None of this was true. About the hot water, you must realize that water heaters in Europe are half the size of North American ones. We had plenty of hot water. The only thing we didn't like are the beds are a little hard but it was the same at the previous place we stayed. We made do. Also tile floors are always cold which I'm not fond of but...

Loved everything about my 3-day stay here

"The whole hotel, lobby, halls and room, smells like fresh laundry, the best smell ever! Newly renovated, stylish and chic, think white/silver/grey/glass/high ceilings and mouldings with the most amazing wooden floors . Low season so there wasn't always someone at desk but he was available to me for anything in a flash, absolutely lovely person. Location was 20 second walk to the stairs for the beach. There are two beaches, be sure to find the little cave in rocks that takes you from one to another. Rocha Beach, doesn't really get better than this."

Lovely stay

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. Our bed was very comfortable. All the staff were very friendly. The location and views are great. Breakfast and the occasional buffet was fresh and good. Minor comments being picky would be the heated pool could be warmer and also the hydrotherapy pool was cold. "

The key too your success...

"Over all this hotel suited my needs....my mobility is hampered after suffering a stroke...so my room allocation was the 18th floor...be prepared to speak fluent languages but not english....when you check in....then be prepared too get a taxi too another hotel 10 minutes away...why they don't issue the key's at the tarik as they used too is a complete mystery...then there's the 9 digit code you have to tap into your door handle...take some one small with you...it'll help."
