"The Hotel Laghetto Stilo Higienópolis is a beautiful, well maintained property. Before my trip to Porto Alegre, I researched property after property to make sure my expectations of safety, cleanliness, and comfort were met. On these three points this hotel excels. "Nothing complicated. Simple rooms with basic needs. A/C and Wifi works fine. Room is clean but small size. Located only 2 blocks from the bus station, surrounding area near the bus station can be unsafe at night, but going the other direction will bring you to some shops and restaurants, and even a modern shopping mall with supermarket. Short term stay is fine."

"I had a good stay at this hotel. The room was very quiet and the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good for me. The only thing I would change is having a coffee pot or at least some pour over equipment so you can make your own coffee. There is a gas stove to heat water, but no way to make coffee, although they provide coffee cups."

"There is a very long online check in process where they request all your documents to be scanned and uploaded, including a selfie. This is supposed to be used for facial recognition to access the building and common areas such as the pool and gym. However the selfies never worked and we only got in the building because the doormen would check our names and open the door every time. We were never able to access the amenities. "Amazing stay for family. Reserved the king suite. Which has two separate spaces and a small kitchen. Very large bathroom and comfortable bedding. Wonderful breakfast. Great walking distance to restaurants and attractions. Or very fair Uber ride. A little piece of history in a charming location."

Very friendly and nice hotel

"Our recent stay at this hotel was truly delightful. The staff provided exceptional service throughout my visit - attentive, professional, and always willing to help. They went above and beyond by offering fantastic local recommendations that led us to some hidden gems we wouldn't have discovered otherwise. When we checked out, they graciously held our luggage while we spent the afternoon at the mall, which was incredibly convenient. The room was wonderfully quiet, allowing for peaceful nights of rest without any disturbances from hallway or street noise. The location is convenient, close to the Porto Alegre airport and shopping malls. The coffee and breakfast was very delicious and worth the small extra cost. While the bathroom was generally clean, I did notice some mildew in the shower area that could use attention. However, this minor issue was overshadowed by the overall cleanliness of the room and the excellence of everything else. The comfortable bed, well-maintained facilities, and pleasant atmosphere made for a highly enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and look forward to returning in the future."

"The food at the in house restaurant was surprisingly good, a good assortment at the complimentary breakfast but it was the staff working there who were outstanding!!! The price of the accommodations does not reflect the value. We stayed for 12 nights and will gladly return on our next visit to Port Alegre."

Hotel confortável

"Hotel confortável, devido o quarto ser amplo e com piso laminado. Chuveiro bom e limpeza boa do quarto. Única coisa é o cheiro de mofo que tem nos corredores do Hotel, por ser ainda de carpete. Acho que deveriam trocar para não ficar com este cheiro. Recomendo o Hotel para quem está de passagem pela cidade, ótimo custo benefício."
