A lovely hotel in a great location in the Art District and within a short walk of the city centre. Very clean and comfortable rooms with a combination of stylish modern and vintage furniture. The staff were lovely and so helpful, they went over and above making our stay very special. We will visit again.

What an absolute gem. Pensao Favorita is a wonderful way to spend a visit to Porto. It is such a personal, cozy, welcoming, homey place, that you immediately feel like family. The staff is warm, inviting, delightful, and so immediately willing to make their place your place. The back garden is a great balance of beautiful and intimate. The reading room is fabulous. And the location in the city is ideal for walking to the best walkable areas, with so many wonderful small restaurants within minutes. The only word to the wise is that the rooms are all up 1 to 3 relatively large stories, so if you will already have been up and down the hills of the city, there's one last last climb. :o)

We stayed 2 nights and had a wonderful stay. We stayed in the garden view rooms and It felt like we were in a spa/resort. Fatimah was so kind and helped in anyway she can. The breakfast was great. A lot of homemade breakfast items. So many tasty, healthy options. Locarioon is great as well, 5 minutes walk restaurants and shops.

Serenity in the heart of Porto

A magical stay at Pensão Favorita. Mafalda and her staff greeted me with warmth-welcoming me with kindness and a delicious cappuccino when I arrived. My room was spacious, quiet and had large windows/doors that overlooked a beautiful garden adding to the tranquility. Breakfast was fresh, prepared with care and abundant.

On aimerait mettre plus d’étoiles si on le pouvait. Excellente adresse, petit hôtel tenu par une propriétaire et son équipe, à la fois extrêmement attentionnés et détendus. L’hôtel lui même est une maison typique de Porto, intelligemment transformée et décorée avec goût, jouant sur les contrastes de l’ancien avec le design moderne, rien n’est sur joué et c’est pour cela que c’est réussi. Un petit jardin bien aménagé permet de boire un coup de porto à la fraîche le soir ou bien tout simplement d’y prendre son petit déjeuner au son des mouettes qui le survolent. Bien situé dans un quartier Arty avec plein de restos, bars, galeries et boutiques design en tous genres.
