Entire property is supposed to be Smoke Free. At least two rooms had smoke coming from them and also POT smell. Told lady at counter and she really didn't seem to care or know what to do about it. The La Quinta in Newport Oregon is the exact opposite.

The facility itself was clean and decent. The staff was friendly. There were very unstable guests at the motel. The surrounding areas have multiple homeless people and unsavory conditions. Someone tried to steal our truck in the middle of the night. We had to have it towed home (3 hrs away). The staff saw it happening on camera and stepped outside, yelling, which made them take off. We stayed at this motel because of surgery at OSHU. It is worth staying at a more expensive motel in a mote secure area, even if a person has to pay for parking. This trip cost us a fortune...just to have surgery! Ugh.

I loved the 24 hour pool and the staff was amazing. And so helpful. But our room was dirt and there was hair and streaks on toliet and the fan didn’t work there was candy and wrappers at the head of the bed in floor and got a jacuzzi tub unit that the water was green and I cleaned it and refilled it and still came green. No water presssure in shower. And the breakfast was empty 30 min after opening as if they didn’t fill anything when they set up shop

The location is weird, luckily, it's next to the Plaid Pantry. My first thought was it was a truck stop for Truckers because there were big rigs in the parking lot.
