"Stayed for Valentine’s which included dinner (up to £40 Per Person) & breakfast. Main was ok but monkfish over cooked & pork under ( fat not rendered enough). They offered to take the fish main off the bill which was £32, as not finished & mentioned not the best. When we checked out the £32 was not put towards the drinks bill but as other than this we had a nice time & staff were great we never said anything. "This property is truly a gem and so is the little town of Charleston. The Studio is immaculately maintained and comfortable - you can feel the owners’ love and effort put into maintaining it, which is so rare to come by these days. "We had a lovely 1 night stay at Pengelly Farmhouse B & B - everything from the warm welcome, to the wonderful bedroom, facilities and the breakfast was outstanding! "Ideal Rocks. This place is a proper hidden gem. On the waterfront and with fantastic dining options it was the perfect place to spend a pre Christmas getaway and mooch around the classy little town of St Mawes, which always seems to be bustling without being overcrowded even at peak times of the year. "Fantastic place, great accommodation, lovely rooms, nice food and drink. Location could not be better. Staff were wonderful, friendly and chatty. We will be coming back. The only improvement we can suggest is for the doors to rooms to have soft closing mechanisms as the doors constantly slam shut."

"Lots of instruction from the owner on how to get in and maintain the property etc. Property is very spacious and well maintained and has a beautiful view. Excellent communication from the owner too. Maybe would have liked to see some basics supplied such as tea and long life milk. Also as a tall person i hit my head on light fittings a few times, as well as the angled walls. Overall an excellent property."

Lovely comfortable hotel

"Had a lovely 4 night break at this hotel. Gareth & Lara were very wecoming & nothing was too much trouble for them. Great choice on menu for breakfast which was delicious. Lovely patio area overlooking countryside & view from our room overlooking the quay. Room was clean & comfortable. Free parking spaces.Would definitely recommend staying here."
