"Nice hotel in quaint old town of Murten. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as hotels own one. Lovely view of the lake from the breakfast room. Good continental breakfast. We stayed for one night as a stopover travelling from the Swiss Alps up to Germany. Easy parking outside hotel which also has garage if required. "

"This is an excellent hotel. The staff, location and quality of dining is 5-star. I would stay again. Parking is an additional fee of SF15/day. The only complaint is there is no air conditioning in the rooms. On hot days, or even warm days, the rooms are overly warm and the only option is to wait until nightfall and open the patio door - which is a better option if you are not on the ground floor. "At the heart of the old town. The hotel would provide you with the city pass (free) with access to all museums and local transpositions (buses and trains) in the same surroundings. "We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Murten with our family. We really appreciated the convenient location, close to the lake and the village. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The room is large and comfortable, although it could use some update in the furniture. Also tv was not working during our stay. The restaurant is good and has a large choice, but unfortunately it was closed both Sunday and Monday. All in all, we recommend this property and we thank the staff for welcoming us!"
