"I was pleasantly surprised when i walked in. It was very spacious. The pictures online does not do it justice. It was sparkling clean, great location, the bed was comfortable. My daughter said the sofa sleeper was extremely comfortable as well. It’s the best stay I’ve ever had. I stay in only 4 stars, so this property met my criteria. It may not mean anything to anyone else but it was “budget happy”. 10 out of 10, I would definitely recommend this location."

"Great location with relatively close access to freeways and downtown area. Layout of the hotel is a bit unique (lobby is located on floor 12!) but the rooms are pretty decent. During our stay we had two inconveniences that could be just a blip during that weekend but are worth noting: the hotel has issues with the hot water in the facility so one morning we had to take tepid to cold showers. The other issue was the wifi stopped working for about half a day but it resumed in the afternoon. The...

"An unbelievable hotel in a declining area of downtown. San Diego like most California ities is on the decline. I grew up here and remember the days of Horton Plaza and the Gaslamp Quarter and its really declined unfortunately. The hotel is fabulous though. "
