So communication was very last minute, we were arriving late at night and worried we had no password or details for the key lock to get it and the owners were not responding. It did say 7 days before we would be contacted so I panicked and thought it was a dodgy booking the entire week, finally the day before we got details and all was fine! "The entire place is spotless and we were warmly welcomed by a very friendly owner. Her communication was faultless all through the week that, and nothing was too much for her. The Chalet is good value for money, and is close to everything in Sestriere, and a short walk to the slope and gondolas. We will recommend this property to anyone wanting to enjoy quainter or summer in the western alps."

"This hotel was fantastic and we definitely didn't expect it for the price we paid. It was so clean, the staff were friendly, we had everything we needed, they even gave us complimentary drinks on arrival. Breakfast was amazing as well. We arrived late and went to the restaurant so our son could eat, when we said we really didn't want to eat anything, the staff offered to make us whatever we wanted. They were all so lovely. I hope I get to stay again someday. "

"The best location in the town. Just few steps from the lift. Dinner is very good and there are options for vegetarians and gluten free. But the breakfast is poor. Large and comfort rooms (a little old)"

Great staff

"Generally good, staff was really good and helpful- wasn’t able to dine on site for dinner due to tour group, but there was no signage saying so ahead of time ( would have eaten in town earlier). Room had a few repairs needed like light bulb in bathroom and drain plug in tub not sealing ( it was a jet tub, so needed). Beautiful location- and again great staff!!!!"

A Perfect Honeymoon Stay

"We stayed at Hotel Alvanche in Sauze D’Oulx for our honeymoon, and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was spacious, with a lovely balcony offering stunning views. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, with a great variety of food to suit all tastes. It set us up perfectly for a day of skiing. The hotel’s heated boot room was an excellent feature, ensuring our skis and boots were dry and ready to go every morning. The location is unbeatable, with close proximity to the Clotes chairlift, making it incredibly convenient for getting onto the slopes quickly. We had an unforgettable week skiing and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Alvanche. It was the perfect base for our honeymoon, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting Sauze D’Oulx."

"Overall happy with the stay. Initial absence of basic cleaning products (doesn't make sense for each guest to buy new every time, if only staying for a few days) but spoke to reception and they provided products for us to use (thanks). Rooms are not big, but we spent most of the time out on the slopes and in town so didn't matter. Warm and clean in the apartment. Small town so everywhere is walkable. Staff at reception, bar and entertainment team were all very friendly and helpful. "
