"Really lovely find, lovely property, very clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again. Only issue was trying to find the 'central area' to drop off our rubbish, only bin we could find was behind some barriers, so had to leave it outside the property. Maybe a map of the area in the property folder would be handy. Thank you!"

" I recently stayed at Green Acres Cottages, and it was a delightful experience. The cottage was lovely and impeccably clean, making it a comfortable retreat. The open plan kitchen and living room were spacious and spotless, perfect for relaxation. "Fantastic place to stay for a 'Get Away Break'. No phone or 5g signal at the property so please be aware. Signal on the beach, up the hill, but not in the property. Fantastic beach, views, absolutely perfect for me who went fishing everyday. Pub/bar next door, couple of shops within walking distance, but less than 10 minutes drive to Newquay and a bus that runs every hour. Fully recommend for getting away from it all."

"Fair out of season stay... On arrival at the front of the hotel it looked closed as it had no outside lighting, not even the hotel sign was lit, some might have been concerned, even walked away, given the untidy, distressed look to the hotel which is somewhat dire. The hotel’s location proved to be wonderfully convenient for the town centre, local public transport connections and all the other amenities this seaside town had to offer. "This is one of the few hotels that I stay in, where the quality of service just gets better and better, the room was great as is the quality and options on food, very central in terms of Cornwall. Only gripe is the bin on the bathroom had not been emptied from the previous occupant. "

"This hotel is amazing!!! We have stayed in many five star hotels and this should be a five star hotel!!! It is extremely clean. The rooms are excellent, very good bathrooms. All furnished to a high standard. Would definitely recommend to friends and would definitely stay again. The history to this place is an added extra and the tours are a must"

"Room was lovely and spacious and the hotel is wonderfully positioned especially for Rick Stein’s restaurant. Room was not as clean as it could be and the bathroom had some mould around the shower which needs sorting. Parking is paid for if you don’t book direct with the hotel which seems highly unreasonable. Continental breakfast selection was great and the staff were excellent and very friendly. We only ate in the restaurant once but it was delicious. Lovely hotel and you cannot fault the staff who were extremely helpful."
