"Great family friendly setup. The pool has been nicely refurbished, perfect temperature and good jacuzzi/steam room. Breakfast options were delicious and both adults and children enjoyed the menu options. Room was spacious and the ‘zed’ beds were fine for children. Our dog had a nice bed and treat pack upon arrival. Looking ahead to when to book again!"

"This property is truly a gem and so is the little town of Charleston. The Studio is immaculately maintained and comfortable - you can feel the owners’ love and effort put into maintaining it, which is so rare to come by these days. "Lots of instruction from the owner on how to get in and maintain the property etc. Property is very spacious and well maintained and has a beautiful view. Excellent communication from the owner too. Maybe would have liked to see some basics supplied such as tea and long life milk. Also as a tall person i hit my head on light fittings a few times, as well as the angled walls. Overall an excellent property."

"Beautiful, elegant hotel with lovely public rooms, ie bar, restaurant. My room had a great sea view. The wall paper was a little dated, but nothing to worry about. When I ran a bath the water was brown - I guess because of either old pipes or recycled rainwater? But it would have been good to have a note explaining it in the bathroom, so I felt reassured to take my bath (I didn't!). Staff were exceptionally nice and helpful on the whole. The views, the walks and the convenient sporting equipment were great, looking forward to using them next visit."

Great hotel for families

"We had a lovely stay at Trenython Manor. The Hotel and grounds were great for our family stay. We were emailed prior to our stay and advised to book in a time slot for swimming, as all swimming and gym sessions must be pre-booked. The hotel is grand and traditional. All staff we came across were friendly and helpful. We had a family room in the hotel, which was spacious and clean. Our kids loved the bunk beds, and it was a lovely touch being left sweets and a colouring book. Our bed was huge and really comfy. As the hotel is in an old building, the sound proofing wasn’t great, so if your a light sleeper ear plugs might be needed. Also there was no bedside plug sockets, to charge phones etc. we used the pool which was clean, and had a sauna, steam and jacuzzi too. Breakfast was lovely, with a wide variety of food choices. The hotel grounds are fab for children, with a football net, play area, woodland walk and tortoises. We just wished we stayed for longer! "
