"Other than the comms beforehand the place was excellent for a family stay. On the beach with a private pool. Three large ensuite bedrooms. Really well laid out and very well kept with a barbecue on the terrace. In terms of location it's quite good. 20 mins from split airport but not under the flight path. "A very charming hotel in the heart of old town Trogir. Our room was spacious and clean. The owners and staff were so friendly and accommodating. They made our stay very enjoyable. There are lots of shops, restaurants and all the historical sights just steps away. The only thing is ,you have to walk in from the north gate as vehicles can’t get inside the walls of old town. It only takes a couple of minutes to get from the north gate to Hotel Monika but it is on cobble stone streets. We had no issue ,but if you have mobility issues it may be a concern."

"We only stayed for 1 night but we really enjoyed it. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and just nice.. We liked the old world feel and the owner told us he is working on modernising the hotel but wants to be sympathetic so as not to spoil the style and ambience. We ended up having lunch, dinner and breakfast and it was all top notch, great flavours and very good value. Thank you for a great stopover."
