The owners were very helpful indeed. And I could come and go as I pleased. The room was very comfortable and I loved having the TV to watch in bed at night! Would definitely stay again.
Number one is a fantastic place too stop ! Everything was top notch could not have wished for better , we had a such a good time there and would recommend this accommodation to anyone 10 out of 10 well done done number 1 for making our stay special
This was a safe and enjoyable stay with friendly owners and staff. The property is ideally situated for the Hoe, Theatre and local shops while the Barbican is a pleasant coastal stroll away.
Arriving early we were able to park at the property although some additional valuable information somehow found it into my junk mail rather than in box. This meant we were unprepared for mask wearing, breakfast ordering and other useful tips the owners had thoughtfully prepared.
We would without question stay here again if returning to Plymouth and thoroughly recommend it to others looking for a value for money location in a great naval city.
Central location with easy access to town and The Hoe. Great that there was on-site parking as this is always an issue in Plymouth. Excellent breakfast both mornings and felt very Covid-safe. Would stay again.
An excellent hotel in a great location, just a short walk from Hoe Park, which affords fantastic views of the bay. I only stayed here two nights while exploring the south west of England and Cornwall, but I still really enjoyed my stay in this small friendly family-run hotel. The owners were always happy to talk and gave me a lot of useful information and travel tips. Highly recommended!
The owners were both welcoming and friendly. The COVID measures were in place but not restrictive in your comings and goings. The breakfasts were excellent and the bedroom was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Having parking at the rear was a great asset. The location meant that both Plymouth How and the city centre were within easy walking distance. I would certainly stay there again
Working away on business.
A great welcome with service to match, the hotel was spotless and everything was as it should be in this current climate.
Highly recommend.
Returning to number one just made our 1 night stay quick and easy.
You are right near the city centre so a short walk and you have a number of bars and restaurants
