"The property is in an excellent location with easy access to the beach and local restaurants. The bungalow was spacious and comfortable for our family. "It's a quaint property and has a great feel to it. It kind of grows on you. Don't go with an expectation that it's a 3 star hotel (as Google Shows) and you will enjoy. The restaurant at the hotel serves amazing food. The breakfast was incredible but expensive. But so is food everywhere around in the area. The beach is beautiful and secluded. It's a woman owned business and the owner is lovely. We enjoyed our time and would stay again if we go back to Costa Rica."

"Latica lodge was amazing to stay at! If you’re looking for that community vibe then this should be on the top of your list. Everyone from all over the world staying there, all having breakfast/supper together was spectular. The owners are everyday people willing to help you out with everything they made the stay so enjoyable. "The owner, Lolo, is very helpful and knowledgeable. She prepares a homemade breakfast for each guest. The property is lovely and I am a big fan of the bathrooms in the bungalows. Nice size shower, lovely wood and fresh air coming in from 3 sides. There is a bit of a drive up a dirt road to get there (but this is very typical of Costa Rican roads). Well worth it once you arrive."
