This is my 2nd time visit grand Rivera princess. Before my son was little, use the family club side, but this time we use normal garden view suite. We had a great time, spa service was awesome as well. Except Miso oriental, the restaurant food is great experience as well. Thank you!

Our stay was mediocre at best, the rooms were run down and dirty the window to the jacuzzi was completely broken there was hair in the jacuzzi it was overall just not great. The pools were ok but not well kept there was tons and tons of leaves, twigs and just miscellaneous things in the pool. A lot of rust as well. Kinda annoying that you have to make a Reso at the resort and only for the next night so we had the unlucky experience of eating at the dining buffet AVOID AT ALL COSTS PLEASE the food looked inedible and that very night I was up until 5am with the runs…my stomach was in so so so much pain. Which is crazy because the restaurant food is actually really good specifically the Mexican and Thai place. The food their was so good comparatively to the buffet….the drinks are also very watered down, only thing that will really give you any sort of buzz is beer. The staff were so nice and accommodating. They work very hard !

The property was well maintained, however we still saw plenty of garbage floating around in pond areas and in bushes. The staff overall was great and accommodating, but the staff at buffet's were less attentive and sometimes did not greet us and we waited for awhile for baby seats. The reported animal issues were not as bad and seems to be contained and there were signs all over to not feed wild life. Food was very bland at every restaurant including a la carte's. Sometimes we could find salt and pepper and hot sauce, some days we couldn't find them. Overall the staff and facilities are improving and will need time to improve before they can compete with other resorts.

The staff was fantastic and the property was once beautiful but repairs have clearly been neglected for some time. The food quality was abysmal. My burger was raw and nothing was seasoned. Wifi is an extra charge if you dont want ads. The only thing pleasant here was the staff.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Even when I met them on 5th avenue on their day off. Exceptional. I enjoy the many quiet pools. The non smoking laws are good, though some guests did break them.
