"The staff at the front desk were not very friendly at all and even though we knew it was on the highway we felt it was very dangerous try to get out of the hotel parking as the visibility was limited and the traffic was driving very fast as it is a highway."

"Timely communication from owners with directions to the property. Got a warm welcome and lots of help in showing me how to get to the ferry terminal, which is within walking distance of the hotel. Hotel well maintained. Room was basic, clean, a very comfortable bed and pillows. Could hear plumbing sounds but not a problem. Would definitely recommend. Great value for money! "

"My 4th stay and possibly the best room so far with port and sea view. Very irritating doors banging day and night from other rooms. I suspect this was due to failing pneumatic door stays although some of the banging was purely from inconsiderate guests. Also sad to note That San Miguel beer was the only beer on tap. Must be the worst beer going. I understand this is because of the negotiated contract with drink suppliers. CruzCampo Special or something similar would be much better."

"Horrible hotel! Yes, it’s close to the ferry terminal, but it has long since had its heyday. We arrived to an overpowering smell of smoke. Our room was filthy upon checkin. Once that was settled we tried to get comfy and nap. We turned the a/c on and it blew in recycled smoke filled air. We left and went to the Marriott. I spent the next 4 days extremely sick from what amounts to smoke inhalation. There were roaches on the stairs as well. Hotel would not refund and apparently hotels.com doesn’t...

gorgeous beach close by but hotel nothing special.

"After booking I received an email stating that I needed to check I by 17:30 otherwise there was an extra 20€ charge. I specifically made sure I was booking a room with a microwave, but when checking in the receptionist said twin rooms don't have kitchen, I had to show her the description on hotels.com staying a kitchennete and she was able to give me a 1 bed apartment, as I needed somewhere to cook my food. There is not a freezer as described. The attachment to hold the shower head was broken and the towels were very thin. The bed sheets smelt slightly of sweat. It was cheap and location was good. It was OK for the 2 days, but I wouldn't return. "
