"Weather was perfect, the location is amazing. You do not need a car as the train station is next fo the hotel and the village has superb transport to get around to the mountains and restaurants. Everything is close enough to walk within 10 mins and the view is breathtaking being surrounded by mountains."

"The staff were very friendly and informative and facilities were very good. Cinema is a bonus with extensive film choice. Allso we were all very impressed with the standard and creativity of food offered by Jamie the chef. I would highly recommend this property and has great access to the slopes really is a jewel in the Swiss alps we will definitely return!"

"I brought three friends from the US for a hut to hut trip in the Dents du Midi and this was our starting point, The Auberge du Grand Paradis had recently been taken over by Kelly and her husband and they are doing a phenomenal job bringing this property back : the facilities are newly renovated and quaint, a typical Swiss chalet with the wonderful smell of wood all around, super clean, in the typical Swiss fashion. "We stayed in the Cosy Chilly Powder for Three nights and really enjoyed the Experience. Great location at the foot of the main Avoriaz Gondola and you can ski in on your way down the Mountain. "What a gem! We had a lovely 2-night stay at Alparthotel surrounding one day of skiing at Champery. The hotel is lovely, quiet, and clean. It is an easy walk from the Chemin de Verger bus stop. We did not have a car and were able to walk to a Coop nearby (grocery store and restaurant). The rooms were comfortable and modern. Would definitely recommend!"

"The hotel and staff were great however when we stayed it was exstremly warm 31 deg C. The rooms do not have air con and the only thing we could do was open the window whichthen meant our room would settle at 31 deg C. As it was cooler on the night we left the window open but we got a lot of noise from the train station. All in all yes we would stay there again as the staff were great and hotel spotless."

"Which was this hotel because of it’s close to the train station as well as the ski tram, which is a short walk. I was doing a ski trip so I made the logistics a lot easier. Didn’t realize that this hotel was in the sports center, which itself is quite impressive with a hockey rink three pools, curling rink, gymnasium, full gym and the bistro. Breakfast is pretty simple, but decent. The rooms are somewhat dorm style with two twin beds and a twin bunk. There is a Ski storage and the rooms had openable doors to the street and could crack open for some fresh air. Definitely not luxurious, but all the facilities made it quite a unique experience."

"Chalet Montriond, interesting place for a good ski in and ski out option. The location cannot be beaten. Parking available too but at an additional cost. The property however could do with a face lift. For a family room we were given bunk beds and the beds were not steady. For Switzerland, the standards were not met. There is a spa but essentially it’s only 2 saunas. They have space for a hot tub and that should be considered. The breakfast was repetitive and very boring and not as fresh as they claim to be. The dining options were limited- we ended up eating out mostly, and that becomes expensive. Overall, livable, but more of a hostel feel for the price we paid. Certainly please improve on the breakfast and dining options for your guests. "

"Overall, this place was fantastic. The hotel did not disappoint. Only complaint is we were in the area during the “off season”, and all the surrounding businesses were essentially closed. But the breakfast alone at this hotel is reason enough to go back if I ever find myself in Switzerland again. "
