"Reviews about this hotel seem to be either great or awfull, nothing in between! So, to start, no this is not a 5* hotel! Maybe 3/4*. However, to be fair the price is not 5* either. "We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pietracap. The breakfast had a good range of options and the dinners were delicious. The hotel was in an easy location for a quick drive into Bastia. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the ocean view from the room was stunning. We also loved the water fountain in the lobby for our water bottles. It was so convenient. The only things we didn't enjoy were the overly firm mattress and STRONG room perfume."

"The stay in Casa di L'Alivu was excellent! The host is very friendly and helpful and the check-in and checkout was very comfortable. The room - we had the maisonette suite - was much to our liking. "The good thing about this place is the location. Besides that the toilets have black ringside yuk! I felt sick, and even my husband notified the reception. When, we arrived they just look at how I was struggling to walk and carry the luggage , but offered no help at all. Finally, the lobby was without AC, I understand they don’t want to spend a lot of money but at least the could have some portable fans."
