"Lava Hotel is my families go to. We go to Lava every year and the last 4 I've continued to book at the Lava Hotel, their rooms are clean and staff is very nice and accommodating. "

"Excellent new property for an overnight stop with a pet. Very clean. Comfortable beds and pillows. Air conditioning not noisy. Great parking. Not far from Jackson hike and park. Breakfast was adequate. For summer high prices would have appreciated more breakfast options including better fresh fruit options. Only issue was with Expedia who said booking included all taxes and fees and nowhere did it indicate a $25 pet fee for dog. "

"We love visiting Lava every year. Last year we found a last minute booking at the home hotel. It’s a little older than some of the hotels but Tracy (front desk) made it awesome. We were so happy when she called the day before our booking to make sure we were coming. The only thing I asked is if she was going to be there . She truly makes it feel like you are staying with relatives - all the good parts, none of the annoying parts. Thanks Tracy and we hope to see you next year. "
