"Lovely atmosphere old chinese. Right in the centre of the old city. Beautiful place for breakfast, Chinese breakfast did not suit my wife but great coffee and orange juice, i think they own luckin coffee next door. "Lovely hotel in a historical property. The staff is vey friendly, knowledgeable and kind. They go out of their way to accommodate our needs, including pick up and drop off at the train station and excellent advice during our stay."

"Other than the fact that no one was there when I arrived and I had to call and wait for them, things were great. The hot water also took a while to arrive and didn't last long. But the staff were helpful and the location was close to most of what you want to see in Pingyao."
