The name Pinaret comes from the natural pine forest that existed here before the park was created and still remains. Walk between the trees and find a convenient picnic table. Pause for a meal of pa amb tomaquet (tomato bread) and butifarra sausage, perhaps accompanied by a local beer or a bottle of wine. Let kids play on the different playground areas, which contain equipment for a range of ages. Visit the paved public square, where events offer opportunities for learning and relaxation. An arbor of solar panels creates shade here.
Pinaret Park is about a 15-minute walk from the town center of Cambrils and the main train station. Walk here in 25 minutes from the port. Limited parking is available on adjacent side streets. The park is open for visitors from late morning to evening and closes later in summer months.
