"The most serene and relaxing hotel I’ve visited! The gardens surrounding the hotel are gorgeous and the food at the restaurant it absolutely delicious! Rooms are spacious with a huge tub to relax in and a firm bed. I would come back in an instant!"

"What an amazong stay. Obviously the views were stunning, but on top of the view the included amenities for the price, you cant beat it. Breakfast was inlcuded and made on the spot. I stayed during off season, late November. I felt like I had thr place to myself. I love that every room includes a view. I just wish I had more time. "

"So grateful for my stay here. I was flying in before check-in time and they accommodated me and gave me my room early. It was so clean and pretty. I recommend getting a room with a view! It’s so worth it. The breakfast was delicious! And so was their dinner menu. The staff so so sweet! They gave us a welcome beverage which was so delicious. Honestly just obsessed with this property. Definitely coming back. "

"This is excellent hotel, and we loved the building and the surrounding garden. It is not in the main area of large all inclusive hotels, but in a residential part of the city which made our Madeira experience more authentic. "The hotel is above a shopping centre without any grounds around the hotel, however, it is in an excellent location within easy walking distance to the old town. All the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. The bedroom was sleek and modern with an ‘open plan’ shower/wash area. The beds were very comfortable with 3 different pillows varying from soft to firm. There are no views other than from the rooftop swimming pool and bar area but this didn’t significantly detract from the stay as we were out most of the time. The breakfast buffet was excellent with good quality ingredients and freshly squeezed orange juice. We were also amused by the mobile robot which took the dirty dishes back to the kitchen. Overall the hotel lives up to it’s 5 star billing, is excellent value for money and I would highly recommend a stay at the Vine the next time you are in Funchal."
