Relax in atmospheric Piazza IV Novembre, a square in the center of Perugia encircled by some of the city’s most famous sights. In the Middle Ages, when Perugia flourished as an independent commune, a palace and a church were built around the square, which was then known as Piazza Grande. Its name changed to Piazza IV Novembre 1918 to celebrate the day World War I ended in Italy.
