"Davide is the BEST host, and 6 Stelle is a wonderful, spotless, gorgeous, lovely place to sleep, eat an excellent breakfast, and explore sweet Sulmona. You’re basically sleeping in history right there by the arches. Davide has great recommendations and speaks excellent English. He’s so friendly and cool. The shower, by the way, is great! "Our two-night stay in Sulmona could not have been better. This six-room hotel, run by two brothers, is modern, clean, convenient to the center, and comfortable (great bed). Breakfast will fit any diet. Heat is more than ample. We asked them to recommend a driver to could take us into the mountains for c. 4 hours, and one of the brothers volunteered for a very fair price. Recommended without qualification."

"Just fabulous views to the mountains and over the rooftops from our top floor (3rd floor) apartment and the shared terrace! Location is perfect in the middle of town, close and walk-able to the couple of cafes and nearby restaurant. The property is more like a hotel, just without an onsite concierge. Rooms have tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge only. It's very well run and the assistance was excellent through all stages of booking, check-in and for any questions we had. "

"We love this charming hotel built into medieval stone and very close to the Maiella mountains! Staff were excellent esp Eugene who can converse in English well, very generous of his time and provided excellent service throughout as well as Petra who was so funny and kind - both made the pleasant stay even better! Food was fantastic with breakfast having a great selection of both savoury and sweet treats. The only problem was the lack of airconditioning (there was a stand fan) in the room making...

"Perfect pick for us, convenient, clean, safe, helpful staff. Helped get a taxi to get to Salerno train station. Breakfast included. Beautiful view of river running thru Campagna. Campagna has historical sites which housed Jews during war, but the Italians were kind to the prisoners, which caused some their lives. US bombed Campagna causing deaths to Jews and citizens, but my family realizes it was a stratigic strike. Catacombs under church dating way back. Great Catina there, also pizzaria "

"The property was very clean, updated and very walkable. We like to walk everywhere and this was perfect. We were on top floor and there was a great balcony on that level. Very nice place to stay. We loved our time here and used it to travel around the area. Nice and quiet to come home to this property. "
