"We really enjoyed our stay here and were disappointed to leave! The property was well maintained and safe, the rooms were very clean, spacious, and well decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable! Although it's a bit out of the downtown core we always found a tuk tuk immediately and it was just a $3 ride to downtown. The staff was always helpful when needed. I would go back in a heartbeat! "

Con: - Blinds are only one layer messing you can't open it without people seeing into your room. - Upon check in, we were approached right away about booking a show. This could have waited until after had gone into our room and settled down. Instead we were blind sighted and taken advantage of while tired from travel. "We arrived and were asked to wait so that the guy on the desk could spray the room with air freshener. On entering the room the place looked shabby and on close inspection of the pillows we quickly decided not to use them as some were stained yellow. The a/c turned on but did nothing to cool down the room and the fan on the wall only oscillated about twice before sticking. There was a bracket on the wall where the tv once was and the electric wires sticking out of the wall where the shower once...

"We chose this because we heard Siem Reap (SR) had become a mad house (it has in parts). GVV is a beautiful oasis. There are only four villas, each are two floor, architecturally fun, 2BR/2.5BA. Grounds and pool beautifully landscape. Staff great. But it is too far to walk to SR, which isn’t really a big deal given super cheap tuktuks. "

"First let me say I'm a Platinum Status Expedia member. Next, LITERALLY DO NOT STAY HERE!!!. The "security" stole my luggage and the "manager" basically did a home invasion. These people are straight up criminals who will threaten you, assault you, and rob you."

"The room we wanted was not available but we got another room that was a bit smaller, cheaper and very nice. The owners refunded the difference to us, and we liked the hotel so much that we stayed three days longer. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. If I could, I would give them six stars out of five. "

"I really enjoyed my stay ay the Sabara Angkor . From the moment I arrived they did everything to make my stay a lovely one . I had not long arrived and a little wooden box arrived in my room with two banana leaf wrapped sticky rice parcels - very delicious. While I stayed at the Sabara I had several beauty treatments; a body scrub, massage, facial and pedicure which were the nicest and best I have ever had. Thank you to Mrs. Kea and Mrs. Vauny. I also enjoyed the restaurant and the delicious food, lots of local dishes to choose from, the Fish Amok was very tasty ! Going places was easy as the hotel would organise for one of the Tuk Tuk drivers to take you where ever you wanted to go . The Hotel organised a private tour of the Temples for me, my tour guide was very knowledgeable and a nice guy, I enjoyed his company while he took me around and was really helpful finding great photo opportunities . I enjoyed the pool and pool bar, the gardens are very pretty but it's the staff that really makes this place . They are all genuinely lovely people . Mrs. Kea and Mrs. Vauny at the spa are great . If you stay here get a massage and pedicure . Ms. Deurm, Ms. Phanif, Ms. Touch, Vuth and Phally and the restaurant will spoil you with tasty food and great service . I am planning on coming back next year with my sister and I will certainly be staying at the Sabara Angkor Resort and Spa"
