"Really nice hotel and pools. Buffet breakfast was good with a few different options. They do have a restaurant which we didn’t try. The room has basic necessities - towels, dressing gowns, slippers, toiletries etc. Bottled water is provided every day. Kitchen is stocked with cooking utensils, plates etc but you need to buy your own ingredients. The room has a TV but no streaming platforms so best to bring a HDMI cable. Daily housekeeping is good. "Although design of the property was nice, it was not thoughtful in its functionality. Shower glass door swung outwards, which meant wet and slippery toilet area and was always caught on the bath mat. Could use more lighting in entire hotel room. Sliding door was also heavy and difficult to access outdoor area. There was also no area to put our luggage. The king bed was two separate beds together which made it uncomfortable in the middle. "Veeeeery nice property for the money. Secluded but a quick taxi ride to everything. Staff very accommodating. Owner dropped by during my visit. Very gracious and friendly man. I love the swim out pool. My villas was comfortable. I travelled solo and felt very safe. "

"My husband and I had an amazing time at SAMSAM. The staffs that SAMSAM is super friendly and super responsive. The food by SAMSAM is absolutely delicious! The resort is located in a great area, and near by is walkable beach and local cafe and restaurants! The resort also offers bike rentals and scooter rental for fee which allowed us to explore the island! I would highly recommend SAMSAM :) "

"Our first family trip away and it exceeded our expectations. The beach was literally across the street and beautiful. The hotel itself was so nice and peaceful - don’t expect a big resort with kids facilities. We loved that it was cosy and intimate and quiet. The restaurant had delicious food but breakfast could’ve had a bit more variety. "

"The staff were very kind and helpful, and the entire experience was lovely. It is a beautiful place to stay and the pools are fabulous. The breakfast was my favorite part--so delicious and varied. It was everything you could want a breakfast to be. The only thing to be aware of is that the nearest beach is about a 5-10 minute walk and isn't really accessible at high tide. "

"Hotel was located on a hillside away from any shops or restaurants but they do provide a scheduled shuttle service to Patong central or beach with a minimal fee. Hotel restaurant situated on top of the property with a great sea view foods and services were excellent. Our room was having a few minor issues but hotel manager Van was very nice and able to correct it right away and provided a very pleasant stay. Definitely will come back here next time in Phuket. "
