"This was a gorgeous property and hotel in a picturesque setting. Breakfast was delicious and the hotel bar is nice. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bathroom is so small. Perhaps this isn't the case in the better rooms - we took the basic room."

"This is a sprawling complex that is tucked away from the main part of Garmisch-Partenkirchen but still accessible via car, taxi, bus, or even just a nice walk. We had a two-bedroom apartment with a balcony. This was plenty of room two parents and two adult children (though they did have to sleep in bunk beds which was throwback to childhood memories). I also enjoyed the free taijiquan class in the adjacent training facility. We plan to stay again."

"We stayed one night in September 2024. Room 286 has a balcony overlooking the lake and the mountains. Geraniums line the deck railing. The room is beautifully designed with plenty of space for your things and it is very well lit. Above the usual care was taken with the lighting, the ceiling painted detail above the bed and the photograph mural on one wall. The best room we have stayed in on this three week trip. "The front office staff are some of the nicest and most accommodating we had on our trip. They help with anything you need. The only little problem with the room was that there was no air conditioning in the room so it got a little stuffy and hot in the night time."

"This is a hidden gem. Spacious rooms, great views, nice sized balcony, church bells ringing, wonderful breakfast and even a better dinner. Did not use the amenities but looked nice.
