"This property is in a beautiful spot with gorgeous vistas all around. Everything was very clean, the people were friendly, and the restaurant was delicious. We were not happy with our room however. "We checked into to the hotel on Sunday, October 1st after a 5 hour drive. The self check-in worked fine and we retreived our key. However, upon entering the room, we discovered that the room had not be cleaned from the prior guest. The sheets were dirty, there were pizza boxes in the trash, the towel were wet, and there was hair in the shower pan. "Rudesheim was our last stop during our 2 week European vacation and we were very happy to stay at Hotel Zum Baeren as it was the best property we stayed at during our entire trip. "Was so quiet we could not believe it . And there was a full moon . Good to get away from it all Staff delightful . Slow internet so enjoy the peacefulness. Great breakfast! "I really like this hotel, the bath was a bit small but everything else was great. The view from our room was beautiful. The hotel restaurant has AMAZING food, high quality and delicious with good prices. It is walkable to many sight seeing locations such as the city center, wineries, amazing lift to top of the mountain and nature hike etc. We were very happy."
