For Europeans and Americans, Petrolina is a hidden gem. The water is hot. There are these unique beach like areas to swim, sunbathe, or hangout like Brazilians 👍 I saw beaches in advertisements and I knew the Atlantic Ocean was nowhere around. 😉 But, Petrolina/Juazeiro have beach like areas on the river. It was interesting to see this and the people. I would return in a heartbeat 💓. I loved my visit.
