"We had a room facing the ocean which had a great view and nice ocean breeze. The hotel was a little dated but very comfortable and clean. There was no AC but the fans and the ocean breeze was enough to cool the rooms. There was some street noise with the open widows though if you are a light sleeper and can't use ear plugs. "We used the Hotel Venere as a bed and breakfast base to cycle around the Parco Nazionale del Cilento e Vallo di Diano. Being out of the main holiday season the area was quite with only one restaurant open in Ascea - but this had the advantage that the roads were quite.
