"Our room was more spacious than expected and cleaned everyday. The hotel is located in a convenient location close to grocery stores and many restaurants. The only negative experience we had was that the key card to get into our rooms had to be activated every day . But overall would highly recommend a stay here."

"Didn't like the key pad to get into the building, the elevator, and the room. It was very challenging to enter the numbers quickly enough, and many times we had to try at least 3 times before getting in! Also - it would have been nice to get some clean towels at least once during a 5 day stay."

"The staff were the nicest and friendliest people I have met when staying at a hotel. I instantly felt at home. The room was priced well. It was a little dated, but some upgrades, like Netflix and nicely framed artwork, were appreciated. The neighborhood is adorable and safe, nestled right between Trader Joe's and Whole Foods, so you can easily utilize the kitchen and save lots of money on going out. I hope to return here again!"

"We booked a larger room with a view of Dupont Circle's park. Everything was as expected except for how stingy they were with the K-Cups for coffee. Only two per day, per room, are given and we each drink two cups of coffee daily. Keeping in mind that there is no housekeeping and no extra towels unless you ask at the desk, it seems like they could afford this small concession. (We were there four (4) nights.)"

"Everything was as expected. No complaints. We got the slightly larger room which was quite comfortable, nice bathroom and toiletries. Great location and the VIP perk of free parking was a deciding factor for us."

My brother and I got a 2-bed, 2-bath apartment with a nice living room and kitchen and it was the perfect solution for staying together without renting 2 rooms or someone’s apartment. Nice front desk staff. Off-site parking via SpotHero was close by and cheaper than any DC hotel charges. The Metro is .25 miles away, as are a frequent bus and a CVS and a Trader Joe, but this isn’t a hanging out or strolling neighborhood — it’s not far from...

"Perfect location in easy walking distance to the White House, great restaurants, and two Metro stations - one with a direct line to Reagan International Airport. Although it is one of Washington's older hotels (it was originally the Statler Hotel and was finished during World War II), it has modern conveniences while retaining some of the interior architectural charm. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning in the North Gate Grill."
