"We really enjoyed our stay at stable cottage. Excellent location with only a 5 minute walk into the town through the beautiful local church grounds. Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped and the hot tub was ready to use on arrival. Small outside garden area is enclosed which was perfect to let our dog out into."

"We had to change our booking - a long story but Sally at front desk was helpful in making sure everything was sorted. It's a shame we had to check out a day earlier than planned as our first night there was excellent - I slept brilliantly. "We were pleasantly surprised as wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Everything was as promised, room was large, clean, comfortable and warm. Little extras such as magnifying mirror, room spray and to go breakfast. Really would recommend and we would certainly stay again but for longer. Really lovely little gem! "

"The hotel was out from the city centre but was on a bus route to get into Hereford so we left the car in their free carpark and went shopping and watched the rugby. Lovely area and the views were fantastic from the hotel dining rooms. There was new menu starting yesterday and the choice of meals were very good. "Needed to stay in the area 4 nights for work, chose this hotel because it was attached to a pub so after a day's work wouldn't have to go into Ledbury to eat. The pub was not open and I didn't see any member of staff during the stay. I had a phone number which I used to ask for more milk and coffee in the room, came back to find a couple of sachets balanced on the windowsill. No one came int the room to clean, change towels, etc. "

Excellent weekend stay at the Abbey Hotel

"This was a weekend away with my wife, the hotel is located in the centre of Great Malvern. The hotel is located on a quite road next to the Abbey, when we arrived Just before 1 pm, we were able to book in early as our room was ready, which was a bonus. I had completed the online booking in form prior to travel the day before, so when we arrived I only had to register the car, signed the registration document and give my credit card for pre-authorisation, so from arrival to being booked in was completed in a couple of minutes. I had booked afternoon tea for 1pm on the day of arrival, this was very good and the sandwiches were fresh and the small cakes were excellent, my only criticism would be there was no table cloth on the table, which took away from the overall look of the presentation. We were give a table with a window view of the valley and plain below the town. The food quality in the hotel was very good and staff service is excellent A visit to the Abbey is well worth a visit and also the Abbey gardens (located just behind the theatre) are very nice to walk a round on a pleasant which we had had on the Sunday. I was lucky to be able to book for a show in the forum theatre on the Sunday afternoon. The Town of Great Malvern is a lovely little town with a good selection of Restaurants and cafes and also boutique shops, I can recommend Peppe’s Italian Restaurant, we had an excellent meal here on Saturday night. This is just a five minute walk from the hotel."

Excellent traditional inn. Great location

"We and a group of friends enjoyed a one night stay at the Feathers in February 2025. We occupied room 216 which overlooks the high st. The room was on the small side but was comfortably furnished and the bathroom was a good size and had been recently refurbished and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and we were able to sleep with the window open. The common areas of the hotel are attractive and there is a cozy lounge and bar. Breakfast was good. We did have to wait 45+ minutes for our cooked breakfast to arrive but the manager did not charge us for it so no complaints Ludlow is lovely. Excellent independent shops, pubs restaurants and markets "
