My room was directly above the garage door and of course every time someone entered or left you could here the noise from the door. Surprising how many people come and go late at night. Paid for my room in full months ago. Upon check in I had to pay $300 deposit for ??? It took at least 10 minutes to check in. Desk clerk seemed confused, maybe his first day. Self serve coffee in the lobby, $2.00 per cup added to the room bill. No restaurant or breakfast bar. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Annette on the front desk rather surly. Being told to download an App inorder to access the room virtual key ( not informed of this in the booking process) was frustrating. Check-in was slow and with physical paper work. The older gentleman at the front desk staff was rude, and keep shaking his head when checking us in. Room was clean as expected..but probably won’t stay there again..

Pemberton Valley Lodge is so nice! Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, the staff is nice, great amenities, safe and beautiful location. Everything was wonderful. If I had to find a point for improvement, my window faced the road in front of the hotel and you either had the shade down blocking all the light, or up and everyone can see inside your room. It would be nice to have some kind of sheer curtain to provide some privacy while allowing the light to come in. Also, I did always have to try like 3 times before the app opened doors.
