"We stayed for 5 days & enjoyed our stay in the Lake. We were in the top floor apartment which has a lot of stairs to climb, no lift. It is a little noisy as it’s right beside the main road so bring ear plugs as that made it better at night to sleep. The second room in the apartment is difficult to stand in as its ceiling is very low due to being an attic. I would recommend the owners upgrade the towels & bath mats as they were very old The staff are very lovely, helpful. Special mention to...

"Instructions for check in were detailed and we had no problems. We were able to find a parking spot in the garage but be warned there are only a few and it's first come first serve. The view from the apartment is breathtaking. The location is in Fiumelatte, a 20-ish minute walk to Varenna which we were happy to do every day. The apartment amenities are basic but fine and comfortable and clean. My only real complaint is there was no Wifi network as advertised. And I did not hear back when I...

"The location of this property is perfect. It’s in the main plaza and not to far from the water. 12 minute walk to the ferry & train station. However, they have limited office hours which complicates things if you are getting in pretty late. Grabbing the keys from their office and walking another 12 mins to the actual property was pretty inconvenient (especially if you have luggages). The actual property is really nice and small, good for couples. "

We got there past the check-in got off time of 8 PM and he kept checking with us to make sure that we could get in and finally he did help us even at 9:30 at night almost close to 10 to help us take our luggage all the way up to the apartment. He made sure that we got dinner before the restaurant was closing. "It's certainly very unique in its Gothic style and very spacious, close to everything. but we found dust in corners and on some selves, the storage room was full of cleaning stuff and smelled like mold....also even it is only 4 miniutes walk from the ferry, with its location at the top of the hill and to carry big suitcases along the pebble stone road all the way up to check in is no fun at all."

"The property had a wonderful, spectacular view. The access to a garage was nice and convenient. Loved all the space in the apartment. Did not like the drive up all the winding roads. Also did not like having the first garage. Parking in it was a hassle from the steep slope and narrow driveway. "

"Very cute apartment in the center of Bellagio with many amenities and central location, but bed mattress was too soft and uncomfortable, gave us backaches just after a few hours. Also because it is in the center of town, you can hear people on the street talking constantly until late at night. If you even open the window you'll see all of the people right below you."

"Breathtaking views out of the surrounding windows as you had breakfast every morning. Wonderful cocktails made by the bar with comfortable seating areas to enjoy some relaxation time. All of the staff were very helpful in getting dinner reservations and answering questions. The car service to take you and pick you up was also amazing. "

"Absolutely lovely small hotel directly on Lake Como in Varenna. We loved our small but very well equipped room and bathroom. Loved the “ rain shower”. Nice balcony with beautiful views. Excellent breakfast in a stunning setting. Excellent service, too. "
