"A lovely little out of the way hotel with plenty of parking. Staff are super friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Food was delicious, all locally sourced and even the locals were friendly. Recommend and would stay again. Would have been a 5* review but I couldn't get on the room wifi with any of my devices due to the Stampede client they used, but the staff even tried to help with this. Had to use the slower bar wifi instead."

"I am a visitor from Germany and don’t know Cardiff. This place was very clean and nicely fitted out/decorated, with some nice modern touches which lifted the place above the average and made it feel more cheerful :-) Everything I needed was there. I felt comfortable and safe. Great location with bus stop outside the door and very close to city centre and train station. "- The kitchen was very convenient and included most cooking equipment although the grill/microwave was a little difficult to understand - Amazing environment, quite lively at times but did not affect noise levels due to soundproof walls. A big plus! - Bed was very comfortable and the lodge had lots of storage space which we liked. - Water pressure and temperature of shower was a little low but did not impact experiment too much - Smooth communication and information provided prior to coming to Goodstay Lodges Overall an amazing accommodation! Thank you very much for the stay and have a lovely day! "

Superb stay, great character.

"The accommodation was amazing, for a self catering establishment, it is very well equipped, lovely island in the kitchen with oven and hob, plenty of space to eat. The lounge area was very comfortable, with big screen TV, both bedrooms had comfortable double beds, upstairs en-suite downstairs separate bathroom. Plenty of parking and for those who wish to eat out, the pub across the road has a great selection at reasonable prices. "
