"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ayder Villa de Pelit! They now have a restaurant on site with a beautiful traditional Turkish breakfast and that stays open until 11pm. They do serve alcohol if you wish. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating during our stay and very communicative via email and WhatsApp prior to our arrival. The room was clean, spacious and quiet. Please note, you have to walk up to the property on a paved trail. The staff will meet you at the bottom to take your bags up via a pulley and valet your car. This just adds to the charm of the visit. Also, there are no air conditioners but we stayed in August and the nights are cool where it is truly not needed. We stayed in the Limba Suite for reference. Lastly, the location is right in the center of town…you can walk up to cute shops and restaurants or down for more of the same. We would definitely return and hope we get the opportunity to do such! "

"My family and I had a wonderful stay at Pafuli Bungalov which is a beautiful wooden bungalow surrounded by tea plantations. We woke up surrounded by greenery and nature - it was just amazing! It is a family run business and the family made us feel so welcome. They served a delicious breakfast which included traditional dishes from the region, and also gave us fresh figs, grapes and tomatoes from their garden. They also helped us to order food from a local restaurant when we arrived late in the evening. Parking is also available and it is very easy to find. Highly recommended! "

"We loved our stay in Rize. Its quieter than other areas of Turkey, so you can mingle with locals more. Beautiful scenery anyway you drive. I think hiring a car allows you to really explore the area. Lots of activities from History, sports or just relaxing by lakes in lush green areas. We stayed 5 days need to return to explore some more. The hotel was an excellent place to explore from. Good breakfast. My husband and I enjoyed the swimming and spa. Wonderful relaxing break. "
