"Rania, the receptionist, went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She thoroughly explained everything and gave excellent local recommendations. And most importantly she helped with my lost handbag; I left my handbag behind during the checkout process. The bag has passports and other important stuff. I came back to look for it and she had it ready on the front desk…phew… She’s a life saver!!"

"This was an excellent stay prior to getting the ferry. A short walk to blue star terminal. The owners are so nice and very helpful the room was very clean , spacious , tidy and had cooking facilities. Super market just round the corner and a “locals” souvlaki place just opposite the supermarket. Would recommend this place to anyone for value for money and comfort. Again the owners where so nice"

"The hotel was modern, clean and tidy. The room was small but suitable for a 1 night stay. Staff on reception during check-in were not very friendly and charged me for the room, even though I had paid by using my saved vouchers. This was rectified later in the day by the manager. "The property has 2 buildings, one closer to the village centre and another one with direct access to the beach. We were lucky to be by the Gaia beach just opposite ours, which has a nicer swimming pool and a bar/restaurant, which is very good and part of the hotel management. "The rooms were incredibly spacious – it felt like we had our own one-bedroom apartment, complete with a living room and kitchen. During our stay, it was windy for a few days due to winds coming from the north. However there was no wind on the other side of the island which was 20 mins drive so went there. (faliraki beach). "

"Such a lovely, family run hotel. So much more personal and quiet compared to the bigger, 4 & 5 star hotels. We were really glad we picked the Caravel. Huge room (apartment), great food and pool and just over the road from the sea. "Had an amazing week at the Haraki Villas. Slightly delayed check in but this gave us time to explore the surroundings before settling in. Location is perfect, quiet, only a short walk to the seafront, where there are amazing restaurants, and a gorgeous view from the terrace and garden. Only minus point was the limited hot water."

"This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we would recommend it to anyone. Rooms are spacious and clean, Staff and polite and very friendly. Good selection of food available. Can not fault it. "

"A relaxing stay, room was clean and comfortable. It can be noisy but overall pretty quiet (we went there off-season). Restaurants are good if you don't want to bother going out of the resort. Spa is decent although quite small. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Location is handy with easy reach to Rhodes town but also to the south of the island. "

"I highly recommend staying at the Santa Maria City Hotel on the Island of Rhodes. All the staff on the reception team were all very professional, attentive and friendly. The staff that were working during the breakfast service were all very professional, friendly, attentive and very fast to replenish all items. I definitely will stay here at this hotel in the near future'. The hotel is centrally located to everything also. Lastly you won’t be disappointed. "
