The staff is friendly and will bend over backwards to accommodate your needs (worthy of its 5 stars). It has a refined and modern look yet offers a wealth of culture inside through its art and food. "Al llegar, me recibió en recepción la mujer más amable del mundo. Me hizo sentir bien recibida y me dió un juego de llaves para la habitación y a la pensión. La habitación y el servicio: limpios. La pensión se encuentra muy bien ubicada a cuadra y media de la Plaza y la estación de metro Areeta. La zona es muy segura y bien iluminada (os digo yo, que fui a un concierto en Ereaga, regresé en metro y caminé a la Pensión a eso de la 1 de la madrugada). "Brilliant hotel and the reception staff are amazing especially for practicing my Spanish. The cleaners do an amazing job and the rooms are unreal. I did ask for a special request that wasn't granted but I think we got a free room upgrade which was an amazing room and a free bottle of wine with our VIP status. The restaurant wasn't great and I don't think I'll be back to the restaurant, but I will definitely stay in the hotel itself again if ever the opportunity arose for the right price."
