"Absolutely stunning hotel, so clean and quiet, perfect relaxation with the best meal we ate in all our time in Sicily. I couldn’t find any reviews on the pool before we went so I will state that it was perfect too, great temperature and rarely too busy, during the day we had it to ourselves largely. We would love to return and would highly recommend. I’ve never checked in to a hotel before and been given the owner’s phone number! It’s a very special place. "

"We really enjoyed our two day stay at this hotel. The receptionist (Ileana) was very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious and immaculately clean. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the historic area close to the sea. The only small difficulty was the fact that the streets around the hotel have restricted access for cars, so we had to walk a few blocks with our luggage. "The location is gorgeous! I can see why people have weddings there. My suite was very night with a big comfortable bed and a nice bathtub which I did enjoy. "Archangelo was wonderful. He was there to meet us and served a fantastic breakfast. The apartment was very nice and the bed very comfortable. "This hotel has been renamed The New Hotel Palace. It was grand, beautiful pool area, ornate lobby and sitting areas albeit somewhat dated. The staff was lovely. It was very quiet, guessing that it was off season. The breakfast was not enticing, a bit disappointing. The same foods were out for 2 mornings so there was nothing that was fresh except maybe the loaf of bread to toast. "
