"Marie Jo is an excellent host, fresh baked bread, handmade jams and farm eggs, what a treat! A peaceful place to stay just o the side of Saint Elophe old church a gem full of hiking routes 10 minutes from Joan of Arc’s birthplace and museum and an excellent gourmet restaurant Le Bois Chenu, chef Vincent D. Affordable prices and great view of the valley, we enjoyed a lot our experience and our host advices and hospitality, a place to come back by sure!"

"The room I'm we were given was adjacent to the kitchen. Basically, that room should be decommissioned. They were banging away till 11:30 pm making it impossible to rest. Also, the condition of room was pretty dismal. It just felt worn and the bed was so low, it was practically on the floor. However, it was affordable, so if the room was in a better location on the property, I would have less to complain about. "The confirmation said that the reception would be open from 8 am to 10 pm. We arrived at 3 pm and no one was there. I followed instructions about self check in but was told electronically that the room was not ready. The telephone number did not work. I called Hotels and they contacted the proprietor who asked for my name an reprogrammed the computer check in. It did no fact work and we checked in . The balance of the service was excellent. "

"The hotel was well situated near a couple of bars and restaurants. We had requested a quiet room, but were given a room at the top of the stairs, it was quite noisy. The restaurant was closed whilst we were there, but that wasn’t really a problem. "
