"We’ve just had the most relaxing overnight stay at 13Bees, what a real shame we couldn’t have stayed longer. The setting is magical, just overlooking the river, beautiful house with gorgeous terrace, lovely bedrooms, yummy breakfast. Easy walking distance from eatery’s & shops. "The chateau is set in a beautiful location and our room overlooking the lake was superb and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast and our hosts Dave and Adam made us very welcome, more like house guests!! We arrived rather late but they even escorted us to a local bistro so that we could find some dinner as the peaceful chateau location is set in deep countryside and nothing local was open at this late hour - they went above and beyond to assist us! A charming and memorable experience! "

"Friendly welcome from the owner and shown to a nice family room. Comfy beds and bathroom with really good shower. Lovely breakfast served outside in sun. Kids enjoyed the pool, very clean. All would have been perfect but for the unexpected heatwave which reached about 40 degrees and as there is no air con we initially suffered trying to sleep. Saying this l would definitely go back again, it is so very quirky!"
