The hotel is nice and close to everything, you can walk and get around easily. The staff were pleasant for most part. The reason I say for most part is because I believe they were guided by their management to make a lot of money nick picking decisions. We called to ask for glass to drink wine that we bought and they said no and we can use the expresso size paper cup. We were told at check in that our stay was included with breakfast and she even went over the breakfast times. My wife and I walk down for breakfast and with plates on our hands they asked for our room number and told us our stay doesn’t include breakfast. I told them I was notified at check in that we do indeed get breakfast. Keep in mind this is happening while we’re around other people. The lady was sweet and I know it wasn’t her fault. She went to the back to talk to someone and came back and said yeah no breakfast. Said we can get a pastry and a coffee for 8 euro. 8 euro ill walk down to the city and have a full breakfast which we don’t mind but again we’re told it was included. Neither to say my wife and I embarrassed put our plates back and left. I would never book this place again nor recommend this place for any stay.

The hotel and staff are great. However, try to avoid level 1. It is exactly outside the pool area and in summer this can be quite noisy beside the feeling of being underground

Property is clean, modern. Bed comfortable. Pillows hard. Towel rental at Pool $2 euros. Blanket on bed way to thick for summer. Asked for a sheet to use. They never delivered it. Outside a little sketchy. Large groups of men hanging around.

It is a modern hotel right by the Parma train station. The location is great if you wish to use the train for exploring nearby towns in Emilia Romagna. Also, it is about a ten minute walk into historic town center.

The initial reaction is modern and welcoming. However, the amount of mold in the showers is disturbing. The shower floor, doors, and shower heads. Ew! Our A.C. wasn't working well the first night so we changed rooms the next day, the A.C. seemed to be a little better the second night, but again the mold in the shower was gross and we saw multiple spiders on the ceiling above the shower as well. The location is very convenient to the train station. A little bleach and scrubbing would really make this a lovely hotel otherwise.

Night in Parma
Only one bath towel to use for a shower and when we called reception and asked they said they would send one up. Waited 20 minutes so had to use hand towels to get dry. On returning from our evening out they had been to leave a towel but it was another hand towel. The pool bar did not open until around 4 even though its supposed to be much earlier. Our 2nd bottle of beer was warm so soon went flat in the cold glass that we had to ask for but was offered one for our 1st drink.

The hotel was very convenient, well located and friendly staff. The breakfast was excellent. I must share my frustration about the use of an iron. Being on the road for 3 weeks - clothes get wrinkled. Not being able to borrow one was surprising. The only way was to use the one on the 1st floor right next to the pool door. My recommendation - would be to find a more discreet location so not everyone using the pool and there are many get to see what you are ironing. For this reason alone, I would not recommend or return to this hotel. Remember there are many hotels to choose from. Thanks SC
