"Travelled with my wife and only chose the town because she was keen to experience the nearby Bagni San Fillipo.But Gli Archi and the town Abbadia San Salvatore both pleasantly surprised us. The house and our room were spotless and the owner lovelly.Room was huge and breakfast tasty. The Abbadia (Abbey) proved to be memorable,especially the multi columned crypt! Nearby Ospedale was perfect for all day free parking an easy walk from B&B."

"This is a hidden gem that I highly recommend if you love breathtaking vistas, history, and wonderful service and exceptional hospitality. Went out of their way to be accommodating and thoroughly enjoyed the geothermal heated pool overlooking the valley. Spa services available onsite as well. Jacuzzi, massage and IR sauna. I came upon this out of last minute necessity and plan return trip there on my next visit. "

Very small property perched on a hill, very well appointed and large rooms, gorgeous views, beautiful surrounding vineyards for endless walking, spectacular pool, ultra-foodie restaurant. One warning, do not recommend this if anyone in the party gets carsick. It is far off the beaten track, with lots of curvy roads, and a considerable amount of gravel roads."

"Set in the heart of Val D’Orcia this presented a great base to visit the surrounding villages, Radicofani being the closest but within easy reach of other towns and the various hot springs like Bagni San Fillipo and others. Our apartment was well laid out and clean, providing all we needed, the bed was comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The only issue we had was with the TV which was rapidly resolved. "The hotel is listed as being in Sorano. It is not located there. It is located in the village of Sovano, about 10 miles away. We finally found someone that spoke a little English that knew about the hotel but it was in a different village! When we arrived the hotel was closed and appeared to have been closed for a long time. Fortunately, we met someone that took us to another hotel in the same village."
