"A very warm and friendly welcome from the owners. Individually and tastefully furnished room. Very comfortable bed and an excellent shower in the ensuite. Breakfast was warm croissant, cold meats, toast, scrambled egg, fresh orange juice, and coffee. There were also pastries on offer, and jams, marmalades, cereals, and muesli. "Everything was spot on. Great Breakfast buffet, one of the he best. Staff were excellent, very attentive. Rooms were very modern, large and clean. Value for the money was outstanding....it was the offseason. Highly recommend. Unfortunately the infinity pool on the roof is not heated. Limited use in the winter. Very few English TV Channels and limited channels in general."

"The staff where absolutely wonderful and very attentive to your needs and comfort the peace and quiet because of it being Adults only was was really enjoyable meal times was so lovely X if I had one simple issue it would be that the towels in the room could of been a bit bigger ie bath sheets not just bath towel size but otherwise I couldn't find any fault "

"The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They served dinner later in the evening and having the restaurant connected to the guesthouse was very convenient. Malta has decent public transport, but we did not use it, as it was easy to walk around. There was also a grocery store, Spar, around the corner about 2 minutes away. Would definitely stay there again!"

The only potential downside for some could be that sound travels well outside the hotel as it is in a busy social location, and the soundproofing could be improved. Quite noisy with early morning deliveries and late evening chatting etc "

"Second visit to this hotel and the welcome was wonderful to have such a friendly atmosphere. The beds are hard so would recommend asking for a topper if thats what your comfort level is gauged to. Rooms are fairly aound proofed but dont stop the noise of people walking past the door."

"Generally the property was good. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Facilities were just adequate, the shower ran out of hot water after one person then you had to wait half an hour for the next person. Otherwise I was happy with my accommodation. The area Tarona house is in, is pleasant enough however you have to be careful as some dog owners are not diligent and think more of their pet than other human beings. "

"We have just returned home after another stay at DB San Antonio, Malta. We wanted to thank all the staff for making it a fabulous stay again (this was our 8th visit). Everything was perfect including the cleanliness of the room; the huge selection of fresh food was amazing; the entertainment in the Kosy bar; the reception team; all staff are so helpful. We would like to specifically thank Shaira on Reception. We were greeted with a big smile from her when we checked in. We were amazed that she remembered us from previous visits. She is always happy and smiling. Any enquiries we had she dealt with promptly and nothing is too much trouble for her. All the staff are a great asset but Shaira stood out. She's a Star. We look forward to returning again soon. "
