Lovely, clean room with comfortable bed. Charming lobby with tea and a different yummy cake every afternoon. Complimentary coke and juice in the fridge and bottle of champagne and macarons in the room upon arrival. Received a bottle wine and candied nuts the second day. Not sure if always do or was just for the overpriced Olympics stay. Breakfast buffet is tasty and has good variety, but is expensive. Several inexpensive restaurants for breakfast across the street. Friendly, helpful staff. Short walks to Left Bank sites, metro and RER to airport. Unfortunately, stay was marred by the elevator breaking down for 4 days (was still broken when I left), so had to take the dingy, slow service elevator that only holds two people. Both elevators only go to 6th floor, so if your room is on the 7th you have to walk one flight. Was napping first day and had do not disturb sign out, but person delivering the wine just entered my room.

A very comfortable hotel in a great location, convenient to good restaurants and easy access to transport links. Hotel staff were very helpful and always ready to assist. A good range of breakfast choices buffet style with a magic orange juice dispenser loads with real oranges.

The elevator was being repaired for the first 4 days of our visit and our room was on the fourth floor. Eventually we were able to use the 2-person service elevator. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is located in a really convenient location for a train from airport and is walkable to most areas . I did not like the outdated room interior and the size of the room was tiny , but the room was clean and the bathroom facilities were great . i just wish they would have updated the interior

Clean hotel in a very nice location - near les jardins de Luxembourg, Pantheon and le Quartier Latin. It’s a little dated but the bathrooms are modern and beds are very comfortable.

The room was smaller than I imagined. I feel there was too much furniture in such a small space. My advice is to remove an end table and slide bed another two or three inches in order to have access to dresser. Also, I recommend smaller table and chairs in the balcony. Other than that, we loved our stay. Thank you

Definitely the rooms are not as pictured on their website. Very outdated and I had to complaint because they have not come to clean my room in 2 days. Main Elevator was not working during our stay of 5 nights. We had to use Service elevator that only fit 2 persons and super tiny. Pricey for the services received. People at the front desk were very helpful.

The hotel is well located and the staff is very helpful. There is a new part of the hotel and an old one. The old one seriously needs a coat of paint and a change of carpet, even if they wait a bit to remodel the bathrooms (which is also on a to do list) because the impression walking to your room is a “where the h&ll did I book, this hotel is a century old and is going to be full of bedbugs and lice)… however the linens and beds were amazing, as were the amenities. Only issue, the bathroom was not only old, but it felt dirty, the grout is stained and there were hairs in the tub that also didn’t drain properly. NOT a good look.

Well maintained older hotel with style and character. Excellent buffet breakfast in a very pleasant room with plenty of tables. Their very walkable location is right in the heart of the Left Bank/Sorbonne neighborhood with plenty of nearby cafes and shops and easy Metro access. Luxembourg Gardens are close by and very pleasant in the evening.
