Parisian stay

Wonderful location next to picturesque Paris streets and very close to metro. Hotel was clean and perfect for our overnight stay. The service was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again.

Relatively standard three star hotel Location 4/5 - great area, felt safe, 5 min walk to saint michel station, 10-15 min to chatelet station (airport transfer) Hotel 2.5/5 - nothing fancy, the steps on the stairs are uneven, easy enough to get up but reminiscent of being intoxicated haha - lift is tiny, suspect it would be hard for families or more than one big suitcase Rooms 3/5 - decent size, enough for space king bed, suitcases to be spread open on the floor - extra pillow was nice - clean enough, smell of cigarette smoke wafts in from the courtyard which is a thumbs down - bath tub shower is meh but relatively consistent with 3 star, this is not well shown in photos when booking. Only enough space for one person to be in at a time - separate toilet helps at least with some spacing Service 2.5/5 - friendly enough, check in and out was quick - pre check in email survey asked what the occasion was but then did not acknowledge anything to us so can’t say the went ‘above and beyond’ Price 2.5/5 - 420 AUD per night including fees/taxes etc Overall average 3 stars

All was nice, the room was a bit tired however they must have ongoing changes on some floors. It was quiet, coffee machine was downstairs free of charge. Bed was comfortable, shower hot. No complains. Location was superb.

The best location in Paris, 10 mins walk from the Louvre or from Notre Dame, metro station 1 min away, 30 mins walk from Gare de Lyon & on a road with vibrant, excellent restaurants & bakeries. Staff charming. Room clean & quiet. Perfect pied à terre.

5/10 mediocre hotel, tiny rooms, good location

Its a small hotel, the rooms are even smaller, and the bathroom so small it was near impossible to utilize the toilet. The location is very good. The hotel itself bearable, but not at the pricepoint they offer. I would stay again only if the price was to be adjusted to the actual product delivered.

The location couldn’t be beat, but the hotel was pretty run down. Our room smelled very badly of cigarette smoke. The staff was very nice and gave us breakfast for free to compensate, but the hotel’s breakfast was very boring so we didn’t even eat it. I would probably stay there again if I found a good price because the location is so great, but I would definitely not upgrade to include the breakfast or plan to spend much time in the room!

It was really nice being so close to so much. We were able to walk just about everywhere, and we were really close to the train station which made it easy to get other places too. The room was pretty small, and the bathroom was super tiny. The breakfast was simple, I wish there were a few more options. Also, there weren’t any allergy-friendly breads or milk.

A quiet retreat in the latin quarter

Hotel Eugeine is small but welcoming, clean and quiet. It is a couple of streets from the Seine, with an abundance of restaurants/cafés and bars in the neighbourhood. We had the buffet breakfast each morning, although there was no gluten free bread available. ( I ended up buying my own!) It is near to St Michel station, for both metro and airport lines, although there is construction work at the moment on C line.

The hotel was o.k. But not all the stuff are friendly. the room and the bathroom was very small, but it was o.k fur us. I am not sure the the bathroom will fit to overweight people. The problem is that we could hear the people in the rooms around us

The pictures were not like the room we were assigned. The air conditioner did not work so we had to keep the windows open all night. The bathroom had a beam going through it so any normal sized human cannot stand or even wipe properly in the closet that was considered the toilet. The sink and shower were across the hall which is less than inconvenient. The bathroom was damp and a bit moldy. The bed felt much like a futon. Other than that, it was fine.

The Staff of the Hotel are nice. The area is centrally located and closed to any mode of transportation. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby, also closed to the most attractions in Paris. The only downside is the hotel building itself, it’s old (which I can understand if they only maintained it well), bathroom was very small and very dirty. Our actual room was very dirty with spiders literally at the ceiling and walls. I did not complain in the front desk but I will never ever come back to this hotel. Thank goodness we always bring our lysol wipes so we have to disinfect everything. Also to note, the walls are very thin, you literally hear the conversations next door. And we don’t really feel safe inside the hotel.

The room was pretty good, beds were nice and shower. The staff was not helpful. Any questions we asked, they either gave wrong answers and couldn't help us. Bathroom was ridiculous. Forget it if you have mobility issues or are a senior. Bathtub wall is so high to get into and out. Very dangerous and no mat on bottom of tub -- slippery. Sink blocked the glass door so couldn't even sit on edge of tub. Toilet cover fell off. Left on floor. 4 hangers. We asked for more and they managed to dig up 2 dusty ones a day after asking. My sister fell off the stair in their lobby and the receptionist didn't even get up off her chair. We asked for ice for her ankle that was swollen and black. They gave us a small hard cooler pack. Other than that no assistance at all.
