"I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Villars Palace, and everything was absolutely wonderful. "What a gem! We had a lovely 2-night stay at Alparthotel surrounding one day of skiing at Champery. The hotel is lovely, quiet, and clean. It is an easy walk from the Chemin de Verger bus stop. We did not have a car and were able to walk to a Coop nearby (grocery store and restaurant). The rooms were comfortable and modern. Would definitely recommend!"

"I travelled here with my wife and my two children (3&5). We arrived a bit late in the day, and hadn't had lunch. Once we had mentioned we were hungry, the hotel staff phoned up the local pizza restaurant and sorted us out. The staff were simply amazing. The room was fantastic, with stunning views of the mountains. We had a family room, which the kids had their own little level which they loved. "Attached to the thermal baths and Nordic Spa is super convenient (access included in hotel rate). Staff try really hard to make it a pleasant experience. The rooms are reasonably up to date, though the bathrooms are smallish, particularly the showers. Dining options are slightly limited with the onsite buffet and the nearby Chalet a la carte Swiss traditional food. The included breakfast was decent basic offering, not high end. Overall a very pleasant and convenient way to do the Bains. "

"Overall, this place was fantastic. The hotel did not disappoint. Only complaint is we were in the area during the “off season”, and all the surrounding businesses were essentially closed. But the breakfast alone at this hotel is reason enough to go back if I ever find myself in Switzerland again. "
